If pharmacological experiments show that aldosterone antagonists also have no obvious diuretic effect on healthy people, it is possible to prove that Poria cocos is also an aldosterone antagonists.
But according to the general medicine pharmacology antagonists should have antagonistic effect on the normal physiological response of healthy people.
However, Poria cocos did not increase diuretic effect on healthy rats, indicating that Poria cocos was not an aldosterone receptor binding reaction on the serosa membrane of renal tubular cells.
If Poria cocos is a receptor binding reaction to aldosterone function of renal tubular cell plasma membrane and antagonizes aldosterone binding receptor reaction, Poria cocos is not a pharmacological action to aldosterone synthesis receptor binding repair.
The pathological changes of aldosterone synthesis receptor in the glomerular zone of adrenal cortex are the reason for the increase of aldosterone. When the aldosterone synthesis receptor is restored to normal by Poria cocos, the aldosterone synthesis will also be normal. Because Poria cocos does not antagonize the aldosterone receptor binding reaction in the serosa of renal tubular cells, it will not increase diuresis in healthy people.
