十问歌是为初学者记忆方便而作，内容简单全面、朗朗上口是其特点，翻译时能顾及这些特点就好了。另外“七聋八谒俱当辨”“再兼眼药叁机变”两句好象不太准确。学生试着参考兰心的翻译，又翻了一遍，希望能顺口。愿在这里向大家多学习，请多指教。
Ten Questions For Diagnosis
First ask heat or cold,
While sweating the second.
Third ask body and head,
Fourth how urine and stool look,
Fifth appetite, sixth ask chest,
Hearing, speaking in succession to be distinguished.
Ninth history, and tenth how it was caused.
Moreover what herbs taken, so the changing may be consulted.
And for women, asking menses is a must,
Delaying, advancing, blocking or bleeding clearly decided.
As for pediatrics, remember smallbox and measles to be added,
Now what you should know is totally in hand.

First are you wrong in heat or cold?
Second are you wrong in sweating?
Third have you wrong in your head and body?
Fourth do you change in your urine and stool?
Fifth how do you in your appetite?
Sixth what's wrong in your chest?
Seventh inquire  your hearing is good or not?
Eighth ask your thirsty or not?
Ninth history,  tenth whys?
Further more ask herbs taken before?
For female patients ask menses especially
Delaying, advancing, blocking or bleeding all should be known.
A few more words for pediatrics,
